Overview
Your media. Your servers. Your Apple TV.
Smart Hub TV is a native Apple TV app that turns your television into a personal media center. Browse your own libraries from a NAS, a home server, or a cloud account, and play any file on tvOS without converting or uploading anything.
Smart Hub TV does not host, distribute, or resell audiovisual content. Every file stays on the user's own server, NAS, or cloud account — the app simply authenticates on behalf of the user and plays back what the user chooses to access.
Features
Built for the way you watch.
Native tvOS
Designed from the ground up for Apple TV. Fluid focus engine navigation, gorgeous artwork, and the responsive feel of a system app.
Direct playback
Stream your files directly from the source. No transcoding servers, no re-uploads, no extra hops between you and your library.
Smart browsing
Posters, episode lists, resume positions, and quick search. Your collection looks great whether it lives on a NAS or in the cloud.
Private by design
No tracking, no library harvesting, no ads. Credentials and tokens stay on the device; nothing is mined to train AI or sold to third parties.
Works with what you have
SMB, WebDAV, SFTP, NFS, FTP, DLNA, Plex, Dropbox, and Google Drive — all under one clean Apple TV interface.
Tweakable
Fine-tune subtitles, audio tracks, aspect ratio, and remote behavior to match how you actually watch on Apple TV.
Sources
Connect everything you already use.
Plug in the servers, NAS devices, and cloud accounts you already trust. Smart Hub TV speaks the same protocols, so your library shows up exactly the way you organized it.

Google Drive
Read-only by design.
When users add a Google Drive source, Smart Hub TV requests read-only OAuth access to list folders, display file metadata, and stream the file the user selects on Apple TV. Google user data is never sold, shared, used for ads, profiling, or to train AI or machine-learning models — fully aligned with the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements.
